Based off of extracting census information from 1830 and 1840 census records. This individual was a male and appears on 1830 as 0-5 years old and appears on 1840 as 10-14 years old.
So he would be born about 1825-1830 and still alive and a teen at time of 1840 census. In 1850 census, he is on the next page of the census having moved out of his dads household and is living with his wife and children. By 1860, both he and his wife have died. His children have been split to live between George's mother and brother.

Susannah TRANTHAM [scrapbook]-1776 was born on 21 Sep 1827 in Lincoln County, Tennesse. She died before 1849 in Lincoln County, Tennesse. Susannah married (MRIN:627) George W MYERS-1769 on 24 Jun 1845 1 in Lincoln County, Tennesse 1.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Year of death is assumed upon the fact that her husband remarried that year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Many researchers have listed her parents as being: John Trantham and Elizabeth Cunningham. John and Elizabeth's marriage is provable. A daughter named Susannah who married George, is not. As of 2017, I was not able to find any evidence of any documents anywhere showing what her parents names were. It is just stated by researchers as fact. A death certificate or something is needed.

There has been a lot of research done out there on the ancestry of this man. Connections tying him back to a Thomas Myers who fought in the Revolution. While eager to grasp for that connection researchers forget to make solid connections. I have not found enough to solidify these children of Asher, let alone to jump forward to the next generations.

There are many that have made many assumptions regarding the sons Riley Gilmore, Archibald Lee and my patriarch George. None of which are true. All of the connections made on Ancestry.com are especially horrendous. That word is being used nicely. I have pulled all information I had off that site. The information I have here is what I have generated from my research of census records strictly and our own family records.

Nancy [scrapbook] 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-1782 was born in 1789 in North Carolina. She died after 1860. Nancy married (MRIN:628) Asher / Asa MYERS-1770.
