SOME OLD PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN AROUND MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Saint Mary's Institute for the Blind


 The following pictures were taken of Saint Mary's Institute for the Blind which was located almost across the street from the Waldspurger farm at the corners of Seventh Street and Lansdale Avenue in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.  The following photos are from the collections of Frances Wood, Margaret Schmidt and Patricia Mahoney, all granddaughters of Edward and Julia Waldspurger.

The building is now Saint Mary's Manor, a Catholic Health Care Services nursing and rehabilitation facility




This photo was taken from the second story or the roof of Edward and Julia Waldspurger's house by Ernest Waldspurger in the 1930s

This photo was taken from the front yard of the Waldspurger farm.

This photo was in the collection of Margaret Schmidt.  Date of photo is unknown.
