Genealogical History of The Wood and Waldspurger Families

WELCOME TO THE GENEALOGY OF THE EXTENDED WOOD AND WALDSPURGER FAMILIES! I have been working on genealogy research off and on since the summer of 1999, when my mother's first cousin (an amateur genealogist herself) got me hooked onto the idea by giving me a simple little list of ancestors she had made. Since then, I have gathered many hundreds of relatives and ancestors, as well as some history behind them and the places that they have been.  I am now venturing into my husband's genealogy as well and will be adding that to this site when I feel there is enough of it to warrant being added.

There are no living individuals to my knowledge in this website nor in the databases listed below (unless I have recieved permission from that individual). If you find that your name is one of those places (other than saying "LIVING") and you want it removed, please contact me and I will try to remove it immediately.

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIAN HISTORY AND GENEALOGY
The history collected here has to do mainly with the area of Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh, and Philadelphia Counties. Of particular interest is the Hatfield Train Wreck of September, 1900, tombstone photos from a few cemeteries, and old photographs from Lansdale and its surrounding areas.

WESTERN PENNSYLVANIAN HISTORY AND GENEALOGY
The history collected here has mainly to do with Allegheny county, particularily the area surrounding Pittsburgh. Of particular interest is the Civil War Battlefield Tour of battles in which two local Civil War regiments saw action.

VETERANS AND SOLDIERS IN THE EXTENDED WOOD AND WALDSPURGER FAMILIES
