She was a member of the Coolidge Hollow United Methodist Church.
She was employed as a home health care aid for the elderly for manyyears.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Elvin D. Boyden on Nov. 12,1995, a daughter, Shannon Root
and a grandson, Matthew VanVliet.
Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Beverly Button ofWellsboro, Shirley and Robert
Leon of Elyria, Ohio, Linda and GregoryRoot of Wellsboro, Diana White of Wellsboro; three sons
anddaughters-in-law, Dana and Marian Boyden of Lock Haven, James and MaryAnn Boyden of San
Antonio, Texas, Ronald and Mary Boyden of Wellsboro;a sister, Ellen Smith, of Wellsboro; 36
