On the 1850 Census, Bernard was a Cooper. In 1860, 1870 & 1880 he was a farmer. In 1900 he was a teamster. He died between 1900 & 1910. On the 1900 Census, it is recorded that Elizabeth was the mother of 9 children of whom 6 were living at the Census date. I believe their first child, George died young since he is not listed on the 1870 Census. The other 2 children who died may have been born in the early 1870s.
