Manasses Sipe

     Tecumseh. Oct. 10-- Manasses Sipe, aged 65 years, died at his home one mile west of Tecumseh Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock after a years illness of a complication of diseases. He was born at Swanton, Ohio, where he lived until about 25 years ago when he moved to a farm near Manchester, coming to Tecumseh 15 years ago. He was married in 1834 to Miss Cora Snyder.

     He is survived by the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Fick of Holloway; and two sons, Lawrence of Marshall and Otto at home, and nine grandchildren.

     The funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at the Friends church at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Edward Escolm officiating. The burial will be made in Brookside Cemetery.

     Cora Ida Snyder (b. July 30, 1864) was the daughter of Jonas Snyder & Susanna Hostetler.
