Clyde Keller, a member of the Students’ Army Training Corps at the Ohio State University died from an attack of Influenza Tuesday. Clyde was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller and before entering the service of his country was a popular clerk in the Fink & Haumesser drug store.

He was a splendid young man---, loyal to his country, true to his friends and kind and courteous to all. The going of these young men is not only a loss to the community from which they are taken, but a loss to the nation, for it is upon men of this character that the future security of the country depend.

The remains were brought to Wauseon Wednesday where the funeral will be held.

Leo was born in Wauseon Oct. 16, 1895. He and his brother, Arthur and widowed mother struggled together to keep up the home and the family together. He was industrious and congenial and enjoyed the friendship of all who knew him.

He left with a Fulton county contingent of soldiers for Camp Jackson, South Carolina, July 24. He was assigned to different duties and held the respect and confidence of the officers and men with whom he served.
