Lloyd E. Champion, 78, of 109 Main St., Genoa, died Tuesday in his home. He was a truck driver for a number of area firms, including R. A. Bartley Co., where he worked for 18 years, retiring in 1961. Surviving are his wife, Hazel; son, Vance; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Rogers, Mrs. Elsie Schmitt, and Mrs. Jean Fry, and sister, Mrs. Helen Harris. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Robinson Mortuary, Genoa. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to Genoa Christian Church. ***************** Note: Lloyd (March 17, 1896- April 23, 1974) was the son of Llewellyn Earl Champion & Martha Malissa Mizer.
