FAMILY BIBLE ![]() Jacob & Delilah (Shrock) Miser Marriage Certificate:
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Immediately below the signatures is a wedding reception scene that is labled 'Marriage in Canna of Galilee. A couple are seated at a long table covered with a white cloth hanging to the floor. The man, groom. is wearing a white robe and has long hair, beard and mustache. The woman, bride. is wearing a dark, long sleeved top and a nun-like head piece extending to her outer shoulders. There is a servent standing behind her, to her right are three men and a women seated at the table. The two closest men are looking toward the center. The third man is looking at the woman lounging on a padded bench at the end of the table. Her back is to the viewer, her head is covered, with only a small part of her face visible. In front of the table is a tall jar with a servent knealing next to it. A man in shadow is lying on a bench with his back to the viewer. His left arm is stretched out to the jar. This man probably represents Jesus who is changing water to wine. Another servent stands at the lower back of the reclining man , between him and the viewer. Four other people are on the far side of the table from the reclining man and to the right of the groom.) Return To Bible
