HUYGHE, Julia Laura (BONTE) August 17, 2006 Julia Laura Huyghe, age 86, of Lyons, Ohio, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, August 17, 2006, at Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community in Toledo, Ohio. She was born January 8, 1920, in Fayette, Ohio to the late Michael and Febronie (VanCoppenolle) Bonte. She married Albert Huyghe on January 8, 1937 and he preceded her in death July 12, 1997. Also preceding her in death were infant sister, Elida May and brothers, Norman and Armand Bonte. Julia helped her husband with the farm, worked at Bancroft Cleaners in Morenci, Michigan, Wood & Wood Poultry in Lyons, Ohio and retired in 1982 from Sheridan in Wauseon, Ohio. Julia was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish in Lyons, Ohio and its Rosary Altar Society. She loved working in her flower garden. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Deborah) Huyghe of Toledo, OH; grandsons, Gregory (Jennifer) Huyghe of Toledo, OH, Todd Huyghe of Arlington, VA and Andrew Huyghe of Bowling Green, OH. Her sisters, Irene Carson and Laura Welch, both of Adrian, MI also survive. Family and friends may visit Friday, August 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 19th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Assumption with Fr. Dennis Metzger officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community or Heartland Hospice. Published in the Toledo Blade on 8/18/2006. |
