DOUBLE (RICHARDSON), Dorothy M. October 5, 2005  Dorothy M. Richardson Double October 14, 1912 - October 5, 2005 Dorothy Double, age 92, of County Road 7, Metamora, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at the Fulton Co. Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio. She was born on October 14, 1912 the daughter of James & Nellie (Smith) Richardson. On October 21, 1931, in Seward, Ohio she married Grant Double. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1986. Dorothy was a homemaker living most of her life in the Lyons area and was a graduate of the Morenci High School. Survivors include six daughters, Phyllis (Roy) Hintz of Morenci, Mary Ann (Lyle) Gillespie of Sand Creek, Audrey Hildreth of Delta, Ohio, Viola (Lou) Hindall of North Baltimore, Ohio, Carol (Ron) McCance of Wauseon, Ohio and Linda (Dan) Willett of Adrian; two sons, Leslie Double of Wauseon, Ohio and Butch (Bev) Double of Metamora, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Roth of Medina and Ruby Kime of Lyons, Ohio; and two brothers, Martin Richardson of Lyons and Jim Richardson of Toledo, Ohio. Besides her husband, Grant, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Hire; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Double; and a great-grandson, Austin Willett. Funeral service will be at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial will follow at Lyons Cemetery in Lyons, Ohio. There will be a visitation on Friday, October 7, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. |
