COX, Marilee A. (Petry) April 28, 2004  Marilee Cox, 65, of Morenci, went to be with her beloved husband, Larry, on April 28, 2004. She passed quietly in her home surrounded by her children. She was born in Holland, OH, on September 7, 1938, to Earl and Dora (Wetzel) Petry. On December 29, 1956, she married Larry Roger Cox at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Lyons, OH. Marilee was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, aunt and friend. She loved her faith and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Roger; her parents, Earl H. and Dora J. Petry; her beloved sister, Margaret Flint; a brother, Tony Petry; four infant siblings, and a great granddaughter, Lorissa JoAnn. Surviving are her children, Joseph (Karen) Cox of Morenci, John (Lisa) Cox of Wapakoneta, OH, Rebecca (Darrin) Piercy, James (Sandy) Cox, Martin (Tanya) Cox, Rachel (John) Barron Jr., Sarah (Everett) Cool, Mary (James) Bell, all of Morenci; sisters, Marilyn (Joe) Jasso of Victoria, TX, and Eileen (Robert) Henson of Adrian, and a brother, James (Cindy) Petry of Morenci; 31 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and friends to numerous to mention. She will be missed greatly by all. Mass of Christian Burial for Marilee Cox will be Saturday, May 1, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci. Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
