BARDEN Janet November 16, 2002  Janet Barden, age 83, of Lincoln St., Lyons, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2002, at her home. She was born March 22, 1919, in Sand Creek, Michigan, to Armitage and Edith (Harroun) Pickles. She married Maurice D. Barden in Seward, Ohio, on June 21, 1940, and he survives. Janet was a life long Lyons area resident and graduated from Lyons High School in 1936. Surviving Janet besides her husband, Maurice; are two daughters, Maureen Peabody of Los Angeles, CA, Margy Bressler of Liberty Center, OH; one son, Maurice J. (Connie) Barden of Lyons; eight grandchildren, Brent Peabody, Brook (Nancy) Peabody, Audra (Lary) Warren, Jesse Barden, Jacob Barden, Katie (Lance) Eisel, Annie Barden and Ellie Barden; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Dylan Warren, and special friend and caregiver, Gladys (Long) Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Gwendolyn Peebles; one brother, Spencer Pickles; two grandchildren, Laura Hutson and Jess Bressler; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Peabody. Graveside services for Janet Barden will be Wednesday, November 20, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. at Lyons Cemetery in Lyons, Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
