MILLER, Dorothy (SHADLE) September 27, 2009  Dorothy Miller, 74, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Toledo Hospital. She owned and operated the White City Restaurant in Lyons, Ohio, with her husband Ed for 10 years. Dorothy was an active member of the Lyons Christian Church. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Deb (Roger) Reynolds Sr. and Joe (Linda) Miller; sisters, Betty Nihiser and Ruth Peck; also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 3 step-grand children; 13 great-grand children and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed; parents, Thomas and Evelyn Shadle; brother, Dick Shadle and sisters, Sally Shadle, Mary Cummins and Tommy Hoffman. The family will receive friends at Lyons Christian Church, 138 E. Morenci St., Lyons, Ohio, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2009, when the Memorial Service to celebrate Dorothy's life will begin. Any memorial contributions in Dorothy's name are ask to be made to the Lyons Christian Church Building Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gasiorowski-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1757 Tremainsville Rd. (at Sylvania), 419-474-8761.
