GILBERT, Janet L. (CLAUSEN) August 29, 2009  Janet L. Gilbert of Federal Way, Washington, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at her home. The beloved daughter of Delmar and Rita Marvelle Clausen, Delta, OH, was born February 23 1942. She was a 1960 graduate of Lyons High School, Lyons, OH. She is survived by her mother and loving husband of 48 years, Thomas J. Gilbert; son, Bradley (Pat) Gilbert, Lyons, OH; daughters, D. Dee Gilbert, Federal Way, WA, Karen (Jerry) Morod, Duvall, WA, Beverly (Bobby) Jones, Federal Way, WA; grandchildren, Trey Jones, Michael Morod, and Breanne Gilbert, all of Washington, Randy Roberts, Wauseon, OH, Brittany Roberts, Wabash, IN; brothers, Larry (Cathy) Clausen, Wauseon, OH, Roger Clausen, Delta, OH, Gene (Sue) Clausen, Delta, OH. Preceded in death by her father, and brothers, Ronald and Alan Clausen. Janet retired twice in her lifetime. First from JC Penney's where she worked in the payroll department. Second, from the Boeing Company where she worked as a systems analysis. Janet was enjoying her retirement in Apache Junction, Arizona, before she was overcome by cancer and its complications. Janet's life was filled with smiles and laughter, enjoyed painting and playing games. She was also a long time active member of the BPO Elks Ladies organization, where she served as president and helped with various fundraisers.
