HESTER, Alta L. (DAME) May 6, 2009  Wauseon, Fulton County Alta L. Hester, 88, of Wauseon passed away early Wednesday May 6, 2009 at Heartland Nursing Care in Wauseon. Mrs. Hester was a life long Homemaker. Mrs. Hester was born on September 1, 1920 in Flatwoods, MO the daughter of the late David and the late Grace (Richardson) Dame. On April 6, 1938 she married Willie Hester and he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a member of the East Chesterfield Christian Church where she had been active with the Christian Womens Fellowship. Surviving is son; Truman (Beverly) Hester of Lyons, daughter; Carolyn (Donald) Little of Wauseon, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving is sister; Nadine Gage of Lyons. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Friday May 8, 2009 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Rev. Floyd Vincent officiating. Interment will follow in the Winameg Cemetery. Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00pm on Thursday.
