James, Jimmie Charles October 3, 2008   Jimmie Charles James, age 79, was born on August 7, 1929 and returned to his Father in Heaven October 3, 2008. He was a much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend and he will be missed by any person who has had the pleasure to come in contact with him. He was born in Palmyra, Michigan to Cecilia and Charles Russell James, and he was the owner of Mesa plumbing for over 30 years - which is now run by his grandson, Russell Fredrick James II. He was an Airman in the US Army, and a past Master of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the LDS Church as well. He was a star football player at Liberty Center High School.He raised 8 children along with his wife of 51 years, Mary Lou Ella James who passed away five years ago from cancer. He was an avid award-winning fisherman, hunter and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents at the age of 21 and was brought home from the military service to raise his younger brother and sister. He was preceded in death by 3 children Jimmie Charles James III (9 years old), Debbie Lee James (38 years old), Jessica Ann James (35). He is survived by his children; Russell Frederick James, Jay Charles James, Susan Kay Benedict, Jennifer Lynn James, and Kris Renee Aviano. He has 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren & Sister-in-law, Helen Peebles. He suffered from Diabetes for 20 years and was compassionately cared for by his daughter, Jennifer for the last 4 years. The family would like to thank all those who cared for our father; the caregivers at The Wound Center at Tempe St. Lukes, and also the many others who cared for him. He will be loved and missed by all and we will celebrate his life on Sunday October 5, 2008 7pm at Scottsdale Shadows - 7800 E Camelback Rd , Scottsdale , AZ.
