QUAINTANCE, James C. December 14, 2006 James C. Quaintance, age 58, of Fayette, surrounded by his loving family, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 14, 2006. He was born in Toledo on July 1, 1948, to the late George and Helen (Mason) Quaintance. James was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a finisher for the Local 886, Cement Masons and Plasterers Union for 40 years. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Danielle. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Paulette "Butchie" Quaintance; children, Monica (Jeff) Luff of Bradenton, FL, Melody Kisseberth of Perrysburg and Jonathan "Bo" (Sarah) Ibbitson of Fayette; brothers, Ed (Cheryl) Quaintance, Ron (Cindy) Quaintance, George Quaintance and Walter "Earl" Lloyd; sisters, Vicki (Ed) McCance, Cheri (Mike) McFeeters, Lyndell (Ted) Szymanski and Charlene (Dave) Wood; seven grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta; where a memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Julie Weber and Brian Hall will be officiating.
