Obituary - Dale Howard LEININGER

      ADRIAN -- Dale Howard Leininger, aged 84, of Adrian died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Lynwood Manor.

      He was born June 1, 1921, in Wauseon, Ohio, to Howard H. Leininger and Mary Ann (King) Leininger. On Aug. 21, 1948, he married Vivian Adams in Sand Creek and she survives. Dale had been a farmer in Fairfield Twp. area all his life. He was a member of the Fairfield Grange. His hobbies included woodworking, gardening, and reading Louis La Mour western novels.

      In addition to his wife, Vivian, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth Leininger and his wife, Susan, of Sand Creek and Randall Leininger and his wife, Nancy, of Grand Blanc, Mich.; a sister, Irene Carpenter of Westland, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Marge Leininger of Toledo; six grandchildren, Amy (David) Horning, April Leininger, Jason Leininger, Karen (Joel) Cormany, Seth (Christine) Leininger and Ryan (Kristin) Leininger; and three great-grandchildren, Carson Horning, Brenna Hornig and Rebekah Leininger. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Gladys Biggs and Helen Stetten; and a brother, Earl Leininger.

      Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Lloyd Jewett and Pastor Ryan Leininger officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.

      Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Department at Lynwood Manor. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
