The Wauseon paper lists as every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 1:30 till 4 as the hours of operation. There is a phone # 419 923- 0077. We welcome everyone to come in and see our new displays and sign our guest book. We think our museum is something for the residents of Lyons and the surrounding area to be proud of!

Our meetings are the last Tuesday of every month at 7PM at the Depot in the meeting room. The public is more than welcome to attend.

The Toledo & Western Depot in 1928.

The rail line was originally started in 1902 as the Toledo and Western and ran until 1933 under that name. Then the line was sold off and it ran only between Berkey, Ohio and Morenci, Michigan. Thus it became known as the Ohio and Morenci or O & M. The line was completely abandoned in the early 50's.

Proceeds from the Recycling Center support The Historical Society. Bring your clean aluminum cans, tin cans, plastic pop bottles, and 1 and 2 plastic containers, newspaper and glass bottles to the Recycling Center on Saturdays between 9 am and 2 pm.
