Mrs. Sadie L. Schadler, 97, of Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Pocono Lake, died Tuesday in the East Mountain Manor, Wilkes-Barre. She was the widow of Floyd Schadler.
She was a domestic in the Pocono Lake area for many years.
Born in Long Pond, she was a daughter of the late John Francis and Anne (Keiper) Kresge.
She was a former member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Pocono Lake.
Surviving are a daughter, Effie Louise Kline of Swoyersville, Luzerne County; three brothers, Arnold of Gouldsboro, Wayne County, Grant of Palmerton and Earl of Swiftwater; two sisters, Mabel Hilliard of Emmaus and Virginia Metzgar of Swiftwater; a granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
The Kresge Funeral Home, Rt. 209, Brodheadsville, is in charge of the arrangements.
