Mrs. Hester R. Keiper, 70, of Pocono Lake, died Thursday in the East Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre. She was the wife of Donald E. Keiper. They observed their 49th wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Mildred (Lentz) Lenhart.
She was a member of the Community Bible Church, Pocono Lake.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Warren D. of East Stroudsburg, David A. of Gouldsboro and Timothy D. of Pocono Lake; two daughters, Ellen M. Larson of Saylorsburg and Roxanne D. Eiler of Pocono Pines; two brothers, Milton of Kunkletown and Harvey of Live Oak, Fla.; two sisters, Mildred Henry of Silver Springs, Fla., and Viola of Philadelphia; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Kresge Funeral Home, Rt. 209, Brodheadsville, is in charge of the arrangements.
