Gloria M. Cook, 65, of RR 4 Hazelton, died Sept. 20 in her home.
She was the wife of Harry P. Cook, at home. They had observed their 34th wedding anniversary in August. She was also the wife of the late John Knecht.
Born in Long Pond, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Keiper) Meckes.
She was a member of the Lattimer Methodist Church in Lattimer, Pa.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Christopher Knecht of Neola, Daniel Knecht of Hazleton, and Dale Knecht of Drums; two daughters, Rosemary Bolderson of Hazleton and Mary Louise Cook of Freeland; four brothers, Thomas and Claude Meckes, both of Long Pond, Miles Meckes of Wilkes-Barre, and Dewey Meckes of Neola; two sisters, Claire Binkley of Scotrun and Gymane Bush of East Stroudsburg; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie M. Knecht.
