Gloria Jean Besecker, 55, of Tannersville, died Sept. 21 1999 at her home.
She was the wife of Carl D. Besecker, at home, and the daughter of John E. Keiper Jr. of Pocono Pines and the late Genevieve (Miller) Keiper.
She was a school teacher for over 30 years, the last 28 with the Pen Argyl Area School District. She was a home economics teacher.
She was a member of the Reeders United Methodist Church and Sunday School.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Jonathan and Jason, both at home; a step-son Daniel Besecker of Hilton Head, SC; a sister; a brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 from the Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Ronald H. Stott officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
