Mrs. Frances Keiper, 77, of Pocono Lake, died Thursday in her home. She was the widow of Russell E. Keiper.
She was head housekeeper for Pocono Manor Resort before retiring in 1988 after working for 43 years.
Born in Pocono Lake, she was a daughter of the late Minor and Elsie (Stout) Smith.
Surviving are three sisters, Arvilla Keiper of Pocono Lake, Mildred Pietrzykowski of Wilkes-Barre and Betty Sterner of Brodheadsville; a brother Kenneth of Pocono Lake; and nieces and nephews.
