Most or all of Thomas' sons are verified by reading the Tax lists In the Virginia Tax Records, Tithables, 1730, Thomas Cherry and sons Jonas and Jeremiah and a Negro named Anthony. Jeremiah was again listed in his father's household in the 1732 and again in 1735 and 1736 Censuses, living at Deep Creek Township, Norfolk County, Virginia.
