Joane Bennett, widow, recived 450 acres in Charles River county, Virginia, for transfer of 8 persons, Ann Winter, John Roote, John Marshall, Thomas Prewitt, Andrew Chant, Jon Morris, and Pole Carplights (Patent Book 1, part 1, p. 346) Thomas ^ PREWITT and Sarah ^ were married before 1648.
