There is a Frederick TAYLOR married in Botetourt County, Virginia,
21 December 1797, to a Magg/Megy FLORA/FLORIAN. George FLORIAN gave
consent and provided surety.
They had at least two daughters, Sarah and Nancy.
Sarah married Martin GROSS 3 February 1825 in Gallia County, Ohio.
Nancy married Enos B. WRIGHT 6 December 1827, Gallia County, Ohio.
Sarah, Nancy and Frederick all died in Madison County, Indiana.
An item that strongly suggests that this is the correct family for
Isaac is that the 1880 census shows Isaac from Indiana, while we know
he was from Gallia County, Ohio.
Frederick was born around the 1760's in either Virginia, or Germany.
The 1850 census of Madison County, Indiana suggests birth in Germany.
The first known reference to Lacy is in the 1880 census where he is a boarder,
age 20, in the home of Lo(renzo) REYNOLDS and his wife, Sarah JOHNSON
REYNOLDS, along with a Perry JOHNSON, age 64.
Sarah JOHNSON was a dau of William Wirt JOHNSON.
Lo REYNOLDS is believed to be a grandson of John and Nancy JOHNSON
FORTH, as he is listed with their household in the 1860 census.
Census records list the birthplace of Lacy's father as Ohio. Lacy may
have been an illegitimate son of one of Perry JOHNSON's daughters.
Perry was a son of John "Sugar" JOHNSON and Mary BRUMFIELD, and a
grandson of Benjamin JOHNSON and Sarah FRANKLIN of Patrick County, Virginia.
Sugar JOHNSON was also the grandfather of Sarah JOHNSON REYNOLDS.
I believe Elizabeth MANNON was the eldest daughter of Moses MANNON and
Mary "Polly" SIMMONS, who were married 10 January 1822 in Lawrence
County, Ohio. But, there is no proof of this fact. She was born about 1824, and the
first known child of their union is Anthony MANNON, born about 1827.
She died 12 october 1867 in Windsor TWP, Lawrence County, Ohio,
and in the same month her children Mary and William also died.
