War of 1812-1814

 

Stephen Keepers, Private, commenced service on August 31, 1814, and his expiration of service was October 16.[1]  He is listed on the payroll of a company of volunteer infantry, 2nd Regiment, PA Vol., commanded by Captain Joseph Halbert.  Lieutenant Colonel Bache commanded the company for thirty days.[2]  Stephen’s term of service was 1 month, 15 days, and he was paid at a rate of $10 per month for a total of $15.[3]
