Samuel Keepers’ (Miscellaneous) Estate
Administration Bond filed November 7, 1842
Chester County, West Chester, PA, Book E, vol. 5, page 1:
Isaac Jefferis, John Worth, and James Pierce, all of Chester County, signed a $100 bond to perform an inventory of all the goods, chattels and credits of the Samuel Keepers, late of the township of East Fallowfield. Samuel’s wife, Rachel Keepers, supported the administration bond. Note: The 1840 census indicates that both Samuel and Rachel were in the 80-90 age group in 1840.
