KEEPERS FAMILY
[This letter, from Henry Lloyd Keepers, Cincinnati, OH,
was attached to a copy of Sister Stella’s letter. There were some known inaccuracies – these have been deleted.

Isaac Keepers, Jr., was married to
Helen Livers, daughter of Arnold Livers, a landowner at a place in Frederick
County, Md., called "Arnold's Delight." Helen's mother, Mary Livers, became a widow and the following
children joined in a deed Oct, 19,1802, in Frederick County conveying their
interest as devisees in the father's (Arnold Livers) estate to their mother:
Arnold, Jr.; Joseph; William and Thomas Livers; Helen Livers Keepers and
husband Isaac; Hanna Livers and husband Nathanial; Mary Livers Browner and
husband William. .
Later (Sept.17,1803) Isaac and wife
Helen were called upon for an additional deed on the same property made out in
favor of Thomas Livers, to further clear the title. At the time this 1ate deed was executed Isaac and Helen declared
their place of residence as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This seems to
confirm Sister Stella's information about the "great grandfather"
(whom she doesn't name) as having finished his days in Pennsylvania. .
