MOASE, Rev. Waldon Britten - Durham, Pictou Co., died January 30, 1997, in Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Freetown, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Darrah and Hazel (Simmons) Moase. He attended Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown, McGill University and Presbyterian College, Montreal, and was ordained into the ministry of the Presbyterian Church at Zion Presbyterian Church, Charlottetown, in 1972. He served the congregations of River John/Toney River; St. Andrews, Pictou; Clyde River, P.E.I., and West River Pastoral Charge, Pictou County, retiring in 1992. Following his retirement, he served as supply minister for the Springville and Barneys River charges. He was a member of Eastern Star, IOOF Lodge 1, Pictou, and the Stellarton Male Chorus. Surviving are his wife, the former Alma Morrison; daughters, Ena (Mrs. Jim Hill), Hunter River, P.E.I.; Darlene (Mrs. Philip Hill), Truro; Cathy (Mrs. Albin McIsaac), Pictou; six grandchildren; sister, Alberta Reeves, Summerside, P.E.I. CROSBY, Veda Mary - 94, Villa St. Joseph du Lac, Dayton, Yarmouth Co., formerly of Woodstock, Yarmouth Co., died February 12, 1997, in the villa. Born in Woodstock, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Brown) Ellis. She was a member of Lake George Church. She was a homemaker, mother and housekeeper, as well as an artist. She was active in the art and craft community in Yarmouth and Yarmouth County. Surviving are son, Edward Frank Reeves, Woodstock; two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank A. He worked for HMC Dockyards, Halifax. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. He was also an avid bowler. WADE, George Frederick - 80, Hobby Horse Farm, Spittal Road, Coldbrook, Kings Co., died August 4, 1997, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Frederick Ernest and Mabel (Reeves) Wade. Together with his brother Bev, they took over the operation of the family business, F.E. Wade Ltd. He formed his own business and was president of Wade Enterprises, which operated several food stores throughout the Annapolis Valley. An avid horseman, he was a founding member of Canadian Morgan Horse Club and was a devoted and supportive member. He was also a founding member of Equine Foundation for Veterinary Research. He was a warden of St. James Anglican Church, Kentville, for many years, and was a member of the board of directors of St. Anne's Camp, Gibsons Lake, Annapolis Co. Surviving are his wife, the former Donalda Harvey; daughters, Leslie (Mrs. David Wade-Fuller), Katherine (Mrs. Robin Marshall), Megan (Mrs. Grant Wade-Cadeau), Coldbrook; sons, Darrell, Greenwood; Frederick, Grand PrŽ; sisters, Gladys (Mrs. Donald MacRae), Halifax; Betty (Mrs. Freeman Pettit), Kentville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Christ Church and St. Martha's Guild, Amherst. She was a life member and past most excellent chief of the Pythian Sisters, Elizabeth Temple 6, Amherst. He was a driver for the Department of National Defence, Mill Cove, and a commissionaire at Canexel, East River. MACKLEY, Marion Gertrude (RN) - 89, Blacketts Lake, died December 4, 1997, in Sydney. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Caroline Elizabeth (Gerhark) Mackley. She was a retired nurse, graduating from Sydney City Hospital in 1931. She worked in Brookline, Mass., for 39 years. She member of Sydney City Hospital Alumni and Knox United Church, Blacketts Lake. Surviving is brother, Ralph, Blacketts Lake. She was predeceased by sisters, Mildred Reeves, Carrie Wright; brothers, John, Ray, George, Paul, Sydney, Walter, Guy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. No visitation. Memorial service will be held at a later date.

REEVES, Florence Marie - 55, New Ross, Lunenburg Co., died December 8, 1997, at home. Born in Windsor, Hants Co., she was a daughter of Vivian (Leopold) Harvey, Windsor, and the late Charles Harvey. She resided in the New Ross area most of her life. She was a life member of Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. Surviving are her husband, Marshall; daughters, Teena, Sherry, New Ross; son, Marty, at home; a granddaughter; half-brothers, David and Jimmy Harvey, Windsor. Cremation has taken place.
