REEVES, Florence E. - 74, Cambridge, Kings County, died October 2, 1992, in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. Born in Cambridge, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (Rogers) Usher. She was a lifelong resident of Cambridge and member of Christ Anglican Church, Berwick. She is survived by five sons, Ronald, Berwick; Leon, Prospect; Harold, Henry, both of Cambridge; Walter, New Minas; two daughters, Shirley (Mrs. LeRoy Connors), Waterville; Evelyn (Mrs. Ralph Sabean), Berwick; three brothers, Henry, John, Ira, all of Cambridge; sister, Winnie (Mrs. Oren Pinch), Waterville; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George; daughter, Betty; brother, Leslie; two sisters, Elsie, Betty. The body is in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Christ Anglican Church, Berwick, Rev. Fred Hinxman and Rev. Gordon Walker officiating. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery. Donations may be made to Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Victoria General Hospital or any charity.

KINSMAN, W. Elizabeth - 77, Grand View Manor, Berwick, died October 9, 1992, in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. Born in Kingsport, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Roy B. and Esther (Ells) Loomer. Before retiring she was secretary for Kings Mutual Insurance Company and had worked as a secretary for Berwick School, W.G. Wilson's Pharmacy and D.B. Lacey's Store. She taught school after graduating from teachers college. She was a member of Berwick Baptist Church and was active in church affairs. She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Reginald R., Porters Lake; Robert W., Halifax; daughter, Marilyn Reeves, Berwick; brother, Roy, Halifax; two sisters, A. Josephine Ward, Wolfville; J. Kathleen (Mrs. W. L. Chisholm), Kentville; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, John. The body is in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Berwick Baptist Church, Rev. Gordon Walker officiating. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery. FRASER, Gregory Horace - 36, Black Rock, Kings County, died October 17, 1992, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Lorimer and Olive (Houghton) Fraser, Mountain Front, Kings County. He was employed with Whitney Farms, Halls Harbour. He is survived by his wife, the former Marlene Reeves; son, Corey, at home; daughter, Mandy, at home; brother, Craig, Calgary; two sisters, Kathy, Calgary; Vivian (Mrs. Michael O'Connell), West Brooklyn, Kings County; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Frances Houghton, Sheffield Mills, Kings County; five nephews; four nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry. The body is in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Kentville, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral for Gregory and his brother Larry will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Dr. Freeman Fenerty and Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeview. Donations may be made to any charity.

PHILLIPS, Lila Gertrude - 69, Mount Uniacke, died November 18, 1992, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Davison, Sask., she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Sadie (McNevin) Reeves. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 95, Bedford. She served in the CWAC Army Corps. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Mrs. Kenneth Motherall), Brantford, Ont.; Gayda (Mrs. Roger Smith), Eileen (Mrs. James Kennickell), both of Mount Uniacke; two sons, Patrick Nelson, North Bay, Ont.; Michael Lewis (Bunny), Windsor; brother, Ivan, Brantford; two sisters, Gayda, Eileen, both of Brantford; eight granddaughters; a grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Bidell; an infant brother; a sister; a nephew. The body has been cremated. Family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. today and Friday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., where a legion service will be 7 p.m. tonight, and where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Allan Orser officiating. Burial will follow in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville. Donations may be made to Hants Community Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society.

MacDONALD, Helen Amelia - 84, Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou, formerly of Lyons Brook, Pictou County, died November 28, 1992, in the home. Born in Mulgrave, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Ethel (Curry) Reeves. She worked as a registered nurse, training at Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New Glasgow. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James; sister, Nita; brother, Lyle. The body is in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, where funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Stephen MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Sea View Cemetery.

REEVES, John Arthur - 76, 146 Columbia St., Sydney, died November 27, 1992, in hospital. Born in Sydney, he was a son of the late Arthur and Sayde (Patterson) Reeves. He was a well known businessman, operating A.E. Reeves and Sons Limited, Sydney. He was an international harvester dealer for over 30 years, retiring in 1975. He was an avid hockey fan and skater throughout his life. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Sydney. He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Higgs; daughter, June MacDonald, Sydney; three sons, Weldon, Moncton, N.B.; Philip, Hillside Mira; Graham, Coxheath, Cape Breton; two brothers, Edwin, Sydney; Roy, Doylestown, Penn.; sister, Jean Travis, Montana; nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Georgina; brother, Weldon. The body is in Sydney Memorial Chapel, where funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today. Burial will be in Forest Haven Cemetery, Sydney. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.

SELLICK, John Warburton - 92, Wallace, Cumberland County, died November 30, 1992, at home. Born in Linden, N.B., he was a son of the late Nelson and Adeline (Reeves) Sellick. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and maintainer and was employed by Wallace Stone Quarries for 24 years up to his retirement 21 years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Robbins; son, Melvin, Wallace; daughter, Barbara Savoie, Moncton, N.B.; two daughters from his first marriage, Tilley MacDonald, Mary Kostoff, both of Oshawa, Ont.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie; son, Harold; brother, Preston; two sisters, Mae Beaton, Violet Heckbert. The body is in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, where funeral will be 2 p.m. today, Pastor Todd Cameron and Pastor David Young officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons Bible Society or any charity.
