Sheppard with interment in family lot, Martin's River.

Both Joe and Nora are buried in Martin's River Cemetery.  The inscription on the concrete headstone which his son Roy made -  reads " KEDDY - I THANK GOD FOR LOVING CARE AND TO REMEMBER OUR DEAR LOVED ONES WHO ARE RESTING HERE - JOSEPH & WIFE NORA." - also Marshall's name faintly appears at the base....

Rose Faeder told me that right after Joe died, the housekeeper (May Dynkins) went to the bank and withdrew all of Joe's savings, leaving the children to come up with the money to bury him, but they couldn't afford the headstone so Roy made one out of concrete.
