JENNIE A. HILTZ, - 90, Martin's River, Lunenburg County, died February 22, 1994, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Northfield, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Ellen (Slauenwhite) Slauenwhite. She was a lifelong member of St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martin's River and an active member of the Indian Oak New Horizons Club, Indian Point and Ocean View Senior Club, Western Shore. She is survived by a daughter, Isabel (Mrs. Charles Mason), Bridgewater; three sons, Aubrey, Blockhouse; Calvin, Percy, both of Martin's River; sister, Mrs. Lillie Aulenback, Western Shore; brother, Reginald, Sweetland; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Nereus Barry; second husband, Percy Hiltz; daughter, Amy (Hiltz) Jardine; three sons, Leland Barry, Warren Barry, Bruce Hiltz; six sisters, Grace, Elva, Ola, Lois, Edna, Daisy; three brothers, Willie, Robbie, Charles. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martin's River, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martin's River. Immediate family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Martin's Foundation Fund or any charity.

GILDA L.M. KAISER, - 80, Bridgewater, died April 16, 1994, at home. Born in Italy Cross, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nora (Feener) Zwicker. She is survived by a daughter, Marge (Mrs. Arnold Young), Martins Point; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon; two sisters, Lottie, Mona; two nephews. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Martin's Anglican Cemetery, Martins River. MAUDE KEDDY, 95, Shoreham Village Home for Special Care, Chester, formerly of Martins River, died April 30, 1994, in the home. Born at Martins River, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Annetta (Hiltz) Keddy. She was a member of St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martins River; St. Martin's Altar Guild; St. Martin's Ladies Auxiliary and Canadian Cancer Society. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary, Gladys; seven brothers, Nathan, Charles, Stanley, Clarence, Harold, Arthur, Kenneth. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martins River, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. PEARL MARIE SAWLER - 62, Western Shore, Lunenburg County, died May 25, 1994, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Martins Point, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Lahlia (Cleveland) Tarbox. She was a member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martins Point and Western Shore Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by eight daughters, Carolyn (Mrs. Frank Wells), Leona (Mrs. George Cooper), Joanne (Mrs. David Lanigan), Crystal (Mrs. Derwin Swinamer), all of Western Shore; Alice (Mrs. Rodney Zinck), First South; Louise (Mrs. Bruce Holdbrook), Gloria (Mrs. David Morrison), both of Lunenburg; Gaye, Martins River; five sons, Carl, Abbotsford, B.C.; Lawrence, Ira, both of Western Shore; Perry, Maitland; Lee, Caledonia; stepson, Scott, Western Shore; sister, Mrs. Mary Savory, Western Shore; brother, Roger, Timberlea; 30 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. PEARLIE MOYLE SARTY - 77, Martins River, Lunenburg County, died June 6, 1994, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Martins River, he was a son of the late Moyle and Carrie (Hiltz) Sarty. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Hiltz; daughter, Caroline (Mrs. John Barkhouse), Greenwood; son, William, Western Shore; sister, Esther Whynot, Bridgewater; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Scott; stepbrother, Reginald Carter. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where a private family service will be held, Rev. MELITA KATHLEEN NICHOLSON, (Dolly) - 81, Halifax, died June 9, 1994, at home. Born in Indian Point, she was a daughter of the late William Harvey and Mildred Pearl (Langille) Eisnor. During her earlier years, she was employed by Dominion Stores Ltd. and the Halifax Board of Trade. For many years, she operated a rental property on South Street. She was a faithful and involved member of the congregation of Fort Massey United Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Pearl (Millie) (Mrs. Frank Shannon), Riverview, N.B.; son, Sylvanus Keith, East Amherst; four grandchildren, Kristin, Andrea, Kevin, Bryan. She was predeceased by her husband, George Byron (Nick); four brothers, Russel, Aubrey, Frank, Reid. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie Street. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Fort Massey United Church, Queen and Tobin streets, Halifax, Rev. Trent Cleveland-Thompson officiating. Burial will be 12 noon in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martins River. PERRY CHARLES ALFRED ERNST, - 74, Bridgewater, formerly of Martin's River, Lunenburg County, died June 15, 1994, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Indian Point, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Charles and Marie (Zwicker) Ernest. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater and past member of St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martin's River. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a lifetime member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 49, Mahone Bay. He was a carpenter by trade and was retired from the N.S.T.C., Halifax, where he was employed as an instructor in the architecture department for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, the former June Swinamer; two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Wayne Lewis), Windsor; Marie (Mrs. Robert White), Martin's River; son, Richard, at home; brother, Mervin, Peterborough, Ont.; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where a legion service will be 7:30 p.m. tonight. Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rev. John Clarke officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Anglican Church Cemetery, Martin's River. BLAIR ST. CLAIR KAIZER, – 81, Gold River, Lunenburg County, died July 16, 1994, in the Veteran's Wing of Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Gold River, he was the son of the late Lemuel and Cora (Adams) Kaizer.  He was a retired carpenter and electrician and served with the Army during the Second World War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 144, Western Shore. He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl L. Hatt; son, Andrew, Gold River; two grandsons; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Clara Kaizer, Susie Sawler; four brothers, Harold, Eric, Leonard, Carroll. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Western Shore Baptist Church, Dr. Edward Bezanson and Rev. Robert Hatt officiating. Buriel will be in Western Shore Pentecostal Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Immediate family flowers only. ESTHER ELVINA WHYNOTT - 73, Bridgewater, died July 20, 1994, at home. Born at Martins River, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Carrie (Hiltz) Carter. She is survived by a son, Leo, Victoria, B.C.; brother, Louis, the United States; half-brother, Jack Carter, Halifax; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Perry; son, Jackie; grandson, Jackie Michael; brother, Reginald; two half-brothers, Pearl, Scott; half-sister, Elizabeth; nephew, Jimmy. Born at Martins Point, he was a son of the late Daniel and Jane (Sawler) Rafuse. He served overseas during the First World War. He is survived by a brother, Harold, Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Carrie; three brothers, Daniel, Venny, Fred. MILDRED P. HILTZ - 87, Martins River, Lunenburg County, died August 25, 1994, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Martins River, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Alice (Spidle) Hiltz. She is survived by five daughters, Vivian (Mrs. Thomas Akwright), Las Vegas, Nev.; Kathleen (Mrs. John Pinatel), Gloria (Mrs. Lloyd Church), Betty (Mrs. Don Paradise), Patricia Palko, all of Montreal; five sons, Maxwell, Toronto; Harold, Ottawa; Leon, Montreal; Vincent, John, both of Bridgewater; two sisters, Louise Lavendoski, Western Shore; Lola (Mrs. Peter Morris), Halifax; five brothers, Roy, Kingston; Scott, Blockhouse; Ronald, Mahone Bay; Eugene, Martins River; Douglas, Columbia, Md.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; two sisters, Beulah, Bessie; four brothers, William, Emplis, Harold, Harvey; half-brother, Hector. EMMETT ROBERT KEDDY, 81, New Ross, died November 7, 1994, at home. Born at Martins River, he was a son of the late Joseph and Nora (Reeves) Keddy. He was a carpenter by trade until retiring. He is survived by his wife, the former Ellen Adams; daughter, Joan (Mrs. Basil Lenihan), New Ross; brother, Frank, Herring Cove Road; granddaughter, Katherine Williams, New Ross; grandson, Robert Lenihan,Centreville; a great-grandson. EUGENE H. SEABOYER, - 88, Martins Point, Lunenburg County, died December 1, 1994, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Jordan Falls, Shelburne County, he was a son of the late Stanley and Bertha (Crowell) Seaboyer. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He is survived by a son, Roderick, Martins Point; sister, Rosalind Roddick, Yarmouth; two grandchildren; a greatgrandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Seretha Stephens; sisters, Ariel, Britamarte, Octeva, Letitia, Viola; brothers, Dowell, Linwood, Basil.
