JOHN HENRY LANGILLE - 76, Halifax, died January 25, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Martins River, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late James and Emma (Ernst) Langille. He was a former employee of the Halifax School Board, retiring as maintenance department foreman in 1981. He was a past patron of the Amethyst Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Atlantic Lodge Masonic Order. He is survived by his wife, the former Marian (Apold) Westhaver; stepson, William, Bedford; three grandchildren; brother, Murray, Halifax. The body is in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street, visiting 4-9 p.m. today, where a masonic service will be 7 p.m. tonight and an Eastern Star service will be 7:30 p.m. tonight. Funeral will be 12 noon Thursday in Resurrection Lutheran Church, corner of Windsor and Allen Street. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Martins Cemetery, Martins River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Lung Association or any charity.

HELGA C. HEBB, - 90, Mahone Bay, died February 5, 1993, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Hjorring, Denmark, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Andrea (Andreasen) Andersen. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, and very active in the church ELW. She is survived by four daughters, Alice (Mrs. Gerald Conroy), Fredericton; Helen (Mrs. Donald McKinstrey), Ottawa; Elizabeth (Mrs. Glenn Bright), Bridgewater; Charlene (Mrs. Carman Langille), Martins River, Lunenburg County; three sons, George, Nobleton, Ont.; Hugh, Martins River; Fred, Lower Sackville; sister, Maria Andersen, Aarhus, Denmark; two brothers, Inghamen, Hadsund, Denmark; Johan, Hjorring; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George; step-son, Lemuel Hebb; brother, Hans Axel. The body is in Mahone Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. George Wawin officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martins River. Donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital or any charity.

MARGARET JANE RAFUSE - 71, Mahone Bay, formerly of Martins River, Lunenburg County, died February 22, 1993, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Martins River, she was a daughter of the late Joshua and Jennie (Wentzell) Hiltz. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Mrs. Ian MacPherson), Mount Uniacke; two stepdaughters, Juanita (Mrs. Harry Sulis), Smiths Cove; Hughena (Mrs. Ron Walkins), Springvale, Australia; son, Beverly, Martins River; two sisters, Mrs. Rena Borgersen, Mrs. Pearl Boehner, both of Martins River; brother, Frank, Gold River, Lunenburg County; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Owen; two sisters, Florence, Millie; six brothers, Gerald, Lyle, Perry, Victor, Paul, Charlie. The body has been cremated under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martins River, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martins River. ALLAN E. EISNOR, - 81, Indian Point, Lunenburg County, died March 7, 1993, at home. Born in Indian Point, he was a son of the late Robert and Phoebe (Hiltz) Eisnor. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Union Church, Indian Point and Royal Canadian Legion, Everett Branch 88, Chester Basin. He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Rhodenizer; daughter, Marionette Mossman, Gold River, Lunenburg County; three sons, Leonard, Maders Cove; Gary, Maitland, Lunenburg County; Michael, Bridgewater; two sisters, Hilda, Bridgewater; Mrs. Eva Polk, Melrose, Mass.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by three sisters, Pauline, Glennie, Alice in infancy; brother, Oran. The body is in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, visiting 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Les Robertson officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martins River. VIOLET V. MOSHER, - 91, Western Shore, died April 8, 1993, in Camp Hill Medical Centre. Born in Western Shore, she was a daughter of the late Noah and Alma (Hatt) Mosher. She was a member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martins Point, where she was a former Sunday school teacher for many years. For over 60 years, she was organist for St. Mark's Anglican Church, St. Mary's Anglican Church, Gold River and St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martins River. A retired school teacher, she taught in several locations throughout Lunenburg and Yarmouth counties as well as in British Columbia. She had been involved in missionary work in Northern Ontario and British Columbia, and also gave private organ lessons. She is survived by two sisters, Ada (Mrs. C. Lev Baron I), New Ross; Mrs. Ferne Veinotte, Western Shore; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Nellie, Margaret Hatt, Blanche Zwicker; brother, Carroll. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight and Sunday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Baptist Cemetery. Immediate family flowers only. PAUL RAYMOND REID EISNOR - 25, Martins River, Lunenburg County, died April 21, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of Raymond and Betty (Langille) Eisnor, Martins River. He is survived by a brother, David, Halifax; paternal grandparents, Douglas and Edith Eisnor, Martins Point. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Hilda and Orren Langille. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. The body will be transferred to St. Martins Anglican Church, Martins River, where visiting will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in St. Martins Cemetery, Martins River. Immediate famiy flowers only. GORDON W. RAFUSE, - 49, Chester Basin, died May 17, 1993. Born in England, he was a son of Nora (Welch) Rafuse, Gold River, and the late Lawrence Rafuse. He was employed as a machinist with G.N. Plastics, Chester. He was a musician in various bands performing mostly at charitable events. He is survived by his wife, the former Lavern Levy; two daughters, Vanessa, Jamie, both at home; two sons, Tyler, Kyle, both at home; sister, Winnifred Hirtle, Mahone Bay; five brothers, Adrian, Chester Grant; Norman, David, Philip, all of Gold River; Roger, Little Tancook Island. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Cemetery. EVA M. KEDDY - 95, West Hartford, Conn., formerly of Martin's Point, Lunenburg County, died June 28, 1993, in Hartford, Conn.  Born is Martin's Point, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Martha (Zwicker) Hiltz.  She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Sisbower, West Hartford; son, Clifford, Newington, Conn., two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Percy A.; son Reginald.  A gravedside committal service will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martin's River, under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin's Anglican Church Memorial Fund.

RONALD ZINCK - 82, Mahone Bay, died August 20, 1993, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Martins River, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Noah and Lottie (Young) Zinck. Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver for Atlantic Bridge Co. Ltd., Lunenburg. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Hiltz; two daughters, Marilyn Burbury, Winnipeg; Lucille (Mrs. Laverne Hatcher), Ottawa; sister, Marguerite Cruikshank, Cape Coral, Fla.; two brothers, Frank, Chester Basin; Glenn, Wileville, Lunenburg County; two granddaughters. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth, Mary; brother, Bernard. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. RITA LEOLA YOUNG,  - 86, Halifax, died September 12, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Ingramport, Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Williams. She is survived by a daughter, Jean (Mrs. James Watson), Bedford; son, Keith, Beaverbank; sister, Marguerite, Belleville, Ont.; two granddaughters; three greatgrandsons. She was predeceased by her husband, Bedford; son, Lloyd; four brothers, Harley, Wilfred, Burt, Keith; sister, Dorothy. Visitation will be 2-4, 79 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax, where funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Tim Appleton officiating. ETHEL F. ZINCK, - 76, Bridgewater, formerly of Martins River, died September 21, 1993, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Crossroads, County Harbour, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late J. Gordon and Florence Rose (Nichols) Sutherland. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Jean Starratt, Windsor; Myrtle, Mabel, both of Halifax; a niece; three greatnieces; a great-nephew; a great-grandniece and nephew. EARL WILLIAM KEDDY, 82, Kentville, died October 17, 1993, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Martins River, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Stephen and Ella (Reeves) Keddy. He served with the Canadian Army and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch 6. He is survived by two daughters, Judy Sherrard, Canning; Cindy (Mrs. David Herbin), Grand Pre; three sons, Cecil (Sonny), Ottawa; Ronald, Kingsport; Rick, Kentville; two brothers, Ralph, Middleton; Frank, Ottawa; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret Eileen Schofield; a daughter; a son; sister, Margaret; two brothers, Albert, Granville; a grandchild. MARION HILDA KEDDY - 79, Forties, Lunenburg County, died October 25, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Gold River, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Sadie (Keddy) Rafuse. She lived in the Forties area most of her life and was a member of St. Augustine Anglican Church, Forties, taking an active part in church affairs. She was a charter member of the Golden Seniors Club and taught school in the New Ross and Forties areas for over 30 years. She is survived by a son, Wayne, British Columbia; two daughters, Lucille Bowlby, Billtown, Kings County; Marilyn Hayes, Hants Border; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; a grandson; brother, Brian. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, New Ross. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Augustine Anglican Church, Rev. Gordon Neish and Rev. Elias Mutale officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Anglican Church Cemetery. Born in Martins River, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Lottie (Rafuse) Wilson. She was a member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Broad Cove; Turquoise Rebekah Lodge, Petite Riviere and Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; two daughters, Thelma Falt, Lunenburg; Joyce Rafuse, Downsview, Ont.; son, Kelly Conrad, Aurora, Ont.; five grandsons; a granddaughter; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Vera (Mrs. Sinclaire Hartlen), Liverpool; brother, Eugene, Liverpool. She was predeceased by her first husband, Kelt Conrad; second husband, Steward Ford; brother, Otto. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in R.A. KATHLEEN ROSENA HILTZ, - 74, Martins River, Lunenburg County, died November 5, 1993, at home. Born in Middlewood, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Laura (Hubley) Wambolt. She is survived by her husband, Clifford (Popeye); five daughters, Norma (Mrs. Leslie Lantz), Dorothy Dolimount, both of Clearland; Doreen DeLorey, Martins Point; Lucille (Mrs. Gilbert Wentzell), Rhodes Corner; Linda (Mrs. James Barss), Martins River; four sons, Charles Dorey, Leo Dorey, Donald Dorey, all of Martins River; Barry Dorey, Indian Point; two sisters, Olive Hiltz, Martins River; Lillas Hiltz, Middlewood; two brothers, Harold, Merle, both of Italy Cross; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Dorey; two sons, Lewis, Keith; sister, Evelyn. There will be no visitation by request. DORA BELLE FALKENHAM - 97, Lunenburg, died December 25, 1993, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Martins River, she was a daughter of the late John and Curilla (Wilson) Ernst. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg; the Ladies Aid and Women's Missionary Society. She was a charter member of the Bluenose Senior Citizens Club, Lunenburg and the Women's Institute. She was also a member of Alexandra Rebekah Lodge 22, Lunenburg. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Jane (Mrs. William Cluett), Lunenburg; two grandchildren, Richard W., Lunenburg; Rachel Jane Wamback, Hammonds Plains; four great-grandchildren; niece, Marion Falkenham-Gaudet, Massachusetts; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jessen W.; five sisters, Florence, Ola, Jean, Lottie, Elva; five brothers, George, Ivan, Vernie, Moyle, Earl. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. RALPH ROMANS BOEHNER - 66, Martins River, Lunenburg County, died December 29, 1993, at home. Born at Martins River, he was a son of Mrs. Pearl (Hiltz) Boehner, Martins River and the late Charles Boehner. He is survived by his wife, the former Rose Noel; three daughters, Paulette (Mrs. Louis Beaulieu), Newcastle, N.B.; Pat (Mrs. Bill Hue), Richmond, B.C.; Debbie (Mrs. David Sawler), Martins Point; three sons, Charles, Martins River; Kenneth, Western Shore; Andrew, Hebbville; three sisters, Barbara (Mrs. Russell Boehner), Sandra (Mrs. Bill Ernst), Paulette Slauenwhite, all of Martins River; seven grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. January 3 in St. Martin's Anglican Church, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martins River.
