Ethel Simmons Hennesy

(Died November 18, 2001)

MOBILE, AL - Ethel Simmons Hennesy, 95, a resident of Mobile, AL died yesterday. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Natchez, a loving mother, a devoted student of the Bible and a dedicated teacher of Sunday School. She was the widow of Esmond Edward Hennesy.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lola and Fred Gerdes of Sonoma, CA; Lea Kuebler of Mobile, AL and Jean and Jacques Kearns of Augusta, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James L. and Margaret Y. Hennessy of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Fannie Lee Foil of Franklinton; and a brother, Jim Simmons of Franklinton.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Thursday until time of service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
