BURWELL SPURLOCK: Pioneer Methodist Circuit Rider, Pastor and Preacher
The first church in the Ceredo District of Wayne Co., is said to have been organized by Rev. Burwell SPURLOCK in 1833. The first sermon in the Union District was preached by Rev. Burwell SPURLOCK in 1816.
