My great great granny married John Fann/Fenn in Early GA
2/4/1849 and moved
to Tuskegee Alabama and had my great grandfather Wm Fenn
who we suspect was Cherokee Indian.
The Fanns had come from VA and perhaps the Harrells did as
well. Emeline/
Emily Harrell might be the daughter of Dempsey Harrell who
had another daughter
named Adeline but we are not certain.
In 1860, they are
listed with four girls (age 9, 4, 3 and 3/12). This
Emeline Harrell Fenn
might
be the daughter of Dempey Harrell & Jane Donaldson
because Dempsey Harrell
moved from Decatur County, GA to Early County, GA.
Dempsy's daughter, Mary A.
(Harrell) Roberts, is listed on the same page as Emeline
Fenn in 1860, so they
might be sisters.
In 1850, they have a son (William - under
one
year old). Ages in the 1850 census were John Fenn
(age 21, born in Georgia)
and Emeline Fenn (age 20, born in Georgia). Ages in
the 1860 census were John
Fenn (age 30, born in GA) and Emeline Fenn (age 30, born
in GA).
