Charner P Cooper

Parents of Charner P Cooper were Alsey and Andrew Cooper of South Carolina who settled into Chambers County before 1840.

Charner married one of his neighbors Sarah F Lee.

He served in the Civil War and had ancestors in the American Revolution.

The Coopers and the Lees lived near each other in Chambers County, which was former Creek Indian Territory.

Their son Levi Benjamin Cooper was in Montgomery County working the farm of Thomas Randolph Carter in Hope Hull, and married his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Carter, having a daughter named Susie Mae Cooper.
