John B. Reynolds

John B. Reynolds was born in Hall County, Georgia. He is the third child of eight for Sharp Spencer Reynolds and Nancy Bates. He enlisted in the Confederacy on September 23, 1861 in Hall County, Georgia. He was a member of Captain Dorsey's Company being Company D, 27th Georgia Volunteers. The company was commanded by Col. Smith. He entered into Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. He was admitted on March 30, 1862 with Typhoid Fever. John B. Reynolds died April 5, 1862. His body was probably never returned home for burial.
