George W. Terry

George W. Terry was born in 1842 in Murray County, Georgia.  He is the second child of twelve.  He is the son of  William "Bill" Terry and Julia Roberts.  He enlisted  on March 10, 1862 at Spring Place Georgia.  He was enlisted into Company A, 39th Georgia Infantry.  He was killed at the Battle of Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga Tennessee on November 25, 1863.
