Clayton Bates

1. Clayton³ Bates (General John², John¹) was born Abt. 1810 in South Carolina, and died Abt. 1828 in Hall County, Georgia.

His birth date and death date is unknown. What is known is that he died at the age of 18 and drowned in the Chattahoochee River in Georgia while swimming across the river seven times without resting.
