Here is a map of the portion of Smithfield, Maine which lies between North Pond and East Pond. The marked cemetery in the middle of the map [Cem] is the Frost/ Stevens Cemetery. Joshua Grant and probably Betsey Grant are buried there [deed], but their gravestones cannot be found or identified. See the cemetery transcription for a list of who else is buried there [view text]. Joshua Grant's land was on both sides of the road between Smithfield and South Smithfield (Rtes 8 and 137), stretching across to each pond. It probably included this cemetery.

Marked in the southern part of the map are the Whitehouse cemeteries. The older burial ground is behind the newer cemetery, as one looks towards them from the road.
