Notes for PETER CONRAD:
Peter Conrad was the last administrator or manager of the Monastery in Bingerwald. (Earlier a Roman Estate farmer). He worked in Waldalgesheim from 6 August 1577 to 31 August 1601. The Conrad Coat of Arms includes a man with a full beard, a university graduated professor with a golden beret on his head. On the right is a golden owl, and on the left is a golden closed book. The owl represents wisdom and the golden closed book which is held close to his heart signifies his love of justice and fairness. Running across the shield is the Rhine River, which runs near where Peter Conrad lived. The wheat and scythe represent all the Tribunal from 27 September 1635 to 16 Jan. 1636.

Marriage Notes for PETER CONRAD and UNKNOWN:
Peter Conrad was the last manager of the Klosters, (Monastery or Nunnery) in Bingenwald. He then worked in Waldalgesheim from the6th of August 1577 to 31 August 1601.

Most of these German records were taken from the Family Tree book of the Conrad family from
Waldalgesheim which was written and searched by Karl Conrad of Waldalgesheim, a retired School
teacher.

Wilhelm also known as William Conrad was born during the thirty years war - about 1629. He lived through other wars and the PEST in the years 1666-1668, and died 22 Feb. 1715 in Waldalgesheim when he was 86 years old. He worked in the last Convent (Klosters) in Bingerwald.
