John Turner POINDEXTER and Mary Francis WEST were married on 13 October 1870 in Dade County, Missouri. Mary Francis WEST, daughter of Isham WEST and Alzada PERRY, was born on 7 October 1849 in Dade County, Missouri. She died on 13 October 1905 at the age of 56.

Mary Francis's sister Clarinda married John Newton Jones - he was a first cousin of Mary Francis's husband John Turner Poindexter.
