The family left Madison Co KY in 1837 and settled in what would be Schuyler Co, MO In 1848, the family moved to Arkansas along with the Thomas Wood & John Johnson families. They lived first in Washington Co AR for about 4 years, then about 1852 moved to Crawford. Co AR. 1850 Census, living in Washington Co AR in Cove Crk Twp; his parents were living with them. Oldest daughter, b. 1837, was born in KY. John, Sherrod, Milton & Thomas born in MO. Sarah born in Arkansas. 1860.
