65. Sophia ADAMSON was born in 1807 in Tennessee.⁵² She died between 1860 and 1870 at the age of 53 in Anderson County, Kansas.

Sophia probably married about 1826 - the first child born in 1828.

Other Nortons counted on the same page in this 1850 census included Hiram, age 33, born in Indiana, and his family; and John Norton, age 64, b. TN with wife Mary, age 62, b. KY. I would think John & Mary Norton may have been Joseph's parents.

In 1860, the family was in Kansas. Washington Twp, Anderson Co, Post Office Garnett, Hh 361.

The children still at home, all born in Illinois: Martha age 18, Isaac 15, Ruth 14, Kesiah age 12.

Apparently Sophia died before 1870. Joseph Norton was living alone in Anderson Co, Kansas, age 64, b. Ohio.

Sophia ADAMSON and Joseph NORTON were married about 1826.^52,53 Joseph NORTON was born in 1807 in Ohio.⁵²
