| Some Descendants of William WaltersMy husband's third great grandmother, Rebecca Walters Thomas was a mystery for some time. The Walters have proved to be a challenge, in part because they lived among families named Waters and Waller and these names are often confused, even today. And, as was the habit of so many of our ancestors, they persisted in using the same given names over and over. There are also numerous instances of impossible dates and locations to be found on the Internet in various family files. Conflicts abound.
This is what I have found to be the most reasonable solutions, based on actual records rather than the Internet versions.
