Ann Rice appears to have been a daughter of John & Letsha Rice, therefore, a sister to William Rice that married Daniel Williams's older sister Nancy.

John Rice Senr identified a daughter as Anna Williams in his will. He lived next door to Daniel's father Henry.

There is also a marriage bond in Caswell Co for Ann Rice to Daniel Williams, 5 Jan 1786.

Jan Court 1789 Sale of estate of Henry Williams by Elizabeth Williams, Wm Rice and Daniel Williams, exec. [it would seem that Daniel has now reached age 21 - his father's will dated 1785 said he was to be one of the executors when he reached 21 and he was listed when the inventory was taken.]


Listed as "Eldest son" in father's will. [The will does not state he was the eldest child - he was to be one of the Executors when he reached age 21 - Will written in April of 1785.]
